    Hi again

    Done with Cd3. Happy, happy. It was hard but I made it. Two hands at once at a fast pace, moving up and down for a two scale stretch. It was 22 days of warm up, plus the whole session!!!. I will continue practicing them every day for a while, I want them to be in my brain for ever, ever.

    Hi Robert,

    I completed Volume 1 CD3,
    playing all major chords with both hands at the lower pace (Trks. 19 to 42)
    and with right and left hand separately at the faster pace (Trks. 43 to 46).

    I’m very impressed by your method:
    – finger memorizing has begun (often my fingers automatically know where to go)
    – playing piano has become more peaceful and also more powerful
    – and above that it’s freeing my mind.

    To the 3rd Point I want to say sth.
    At my job (and at home as well) I like looking for simple solutions. Often it’s a long way finding simple solutions. I think that is meant by the saying “it’s simple but not easy”, isn’t it?
    However, now it has become so easy finding simple solutions, it’s great!

    Have only just figured out how to submit my comments – hence submitting CDs 1, 2 & 3 within a very short period.
    I had already worked through all volume 1 levels but today have revisited the first 3 CDs and am amazed at how I have improved – indeed, I find the pace of the scales in week 6 (both hands together) easily manageable now. Faster, however, will be another matter!!! so I am expecting progress to slow down from now on.

    I have completed Vol 1 CD3. It took a couple of weeks to feel that I have the scales under each hand. I started learning piano in 2013 but this is the first time to learn to play in all keys. I started taking your lessons because I wanted to know what to think and how to think when playing piano. I’ve played guitar since ’94 and of course can play in every key, but piano seems more difficult than playing barre chords on guitar.

    Hi! I’ve completed Volume 1 CD3 Week 6!

    Pat from USA!
    Been fixing up some of my fingering and getting more fluent with the black note scales. Still love the tone tone semi-tone, tone tone tone sim-tone tone pattern to find my place on the black scales. Also rely on my ear and my knowledge of how many flats or sharps in each scale.

    What is the name of the third song we play? That was a new tune for me!

    Eager for the next steps!
