Hi AKMS Family,
Many of you have seen or heard through my emails of the health challenges that visited my home.
Over a Month ago, I had to cancel a Webinar in order to take care of my wife as she wasn't feeling well and bring her to the hospital. It wasn't COVID-19 or anything like that. Unfortunately, she was adamant that she did not want to go. But fortunately, she felt better that same night and we didn't need to go.
Also a Month before, my mother in law came over on a weekend to cook us a special home-cooked meal. You can't beat those meals from a mother.
Usually, she doesn't leave her home, but if she does, she's always fully covered with a mask, shield and any other thing that could protect her from COVID-19.
So she cooked the meal and eventually left after a few hours.
The next day, she was feeling nausea, throwing up and having a hard time breathing.
She is an independent 70+ year hold and decided to drive herself to the hospital. When they did a COVID-19 test, they found that she was COVID-19 Positive.
A few weeks later, I started having some chest pain. Eventually the pain climaxed and it really felt like someone hit me with a bat.
Walking and even sleeping was hard. I stayed with the pain and tried to function as normal and do the Webinars and Online teaching that I regularly do.
Long story short, the pain was too much for me to think; it became unbearable. So I cancelled another week of sessions and the scheduled AKMS Member's Webinar again.
In fact, I was in soo much pain that it took me 20min to type a 4 sentence Cancellation email for the AKMS Member's Webinar.
That night was the hardest to sleep for me .... Long story short, that next day the ambulance came and rushed me to the hospital on Friday, June 25th/21.

There were soo many struggles caused by this “unknown to me” condition. Simple things like walking or trying to sit down where painful tasks that I dreaded.
So they ended up testing and diagnosing me as COVID-19 positive. They admitted me and that's when my journey to recovery began.
I believe in the God of the bible and I believe in the power of prayer.
I know that I had a lot of people and a lot of you praying and/or sending your positive thoughts to my wife and I.
I don't have the exact medical jargan, but the pain was cased by a blood clot that had developed around my lungs.
It produced something called a “Pulmonary Embolism”.
I also developed Pneumonia around that same clotted area, which they said was caused by the COVID-19 virus.
From what I understand from the doctors, I didn't have to be started on steroids because I wasn't hypoxic.
Therefore, I didn't need specific treatment for my COVID-19 because I was never hypoxic. (I will definitely have to look that one up.).
So after 5 Days of Pain, Diagnosis, Treatment and Prayer, I'm happy to report that I was discharged and let go from the hospital and am home recovering; with some medication of course.
They also placed a quarantine restriction that I have to be isolated from the public; which includes my Wife and Daughter, for 14 Days.
That part is hard as I was so looking forward to being with them. But those days will go by.
So I Thank God for His faithfulness and Thank you all for your prayers and support.
I look forward to getting back to when I can actively help you all with your musical goals.
But for now, I know you understand that I need to recover.
Thank you again!!
PS. But please remember my Mother in Law in your prayers as she's still battling this virus.
[UPDATE] Unfortunately, my mother in law passed away on July 6th/2021. Thank you all for your prayers]
Love Robert

Hi Robert, I am so glad to hear that you and your wife are doing better. The Bible declares that, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all”. I share in your joy of being able to go home, even if under isolation. May the Lord continue to heal your body as you continue to wait in His presence. “Them that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength”. May He continue to bring you through this storm and cause you to be a blessing.

Robert,
Your story of walking in faith and our Lord’s ever present care for His chosen continues . . . from your car accident to Covid-19. I believe that this too will be a powerful part of your testimony. It will be an encouragement all who will hear of it. The Lord is using you in many ways to accomplish His purpose. Though all things may not be clear for the moment – we are assured that God is in control! Believing for a greater blessing that will overshadow the present .
We all love you and are praying for restoration for you and your family.
Your brother in Christ
